Registered Rambouillets ~~ 2006 Fleeces Our sheep do not wear coats, so there will be some VM in the fleeces. However, the nature of the breed, our careful selection for dense fleece, and sensible feeding practices make for fairly clean fiber with only small amounts of vegetable matter. After washing you can expect your wool to weigh in at about 70% We skirt heavily at shearing and then again with a more critical eye just before finalizing a sale. The weights and corresponding prices below are a close approximation and will be adjusted to reflect a second skirting. We send out large samples of up to 3 fleeces upon request. These samples are large enough for you to actually wash and spin. We charge actual shipping and while we generally use UPS ground, we will work with the buyer to find the best option.
